Most of us that have surfed around the internet looking for information about internet marketing have at least heard of if not have even tried CPC (Pay per Click). More and more, the word is getting out about CPA (Cost per Action) Marketing. Does new always mean better? Let’s look at some of the aspects of both.

With pay per click, after you decide the keywords you would like to attract visitors to your offer, then you decide which ones you want to pay for. The example I can give you for this that is easy to understand is that suppose you can afford $100 a month for your CPC account. You’ve picked out a great keyword. The only problem is it is $5.00 a click. Well it doesn’t take a mathematician long to figure that out now does it? If you’re paying that much per click then your money will be gone in 20 clicks possibly by the first day. It takes careful planning and monitoring especially on limited funds to make CPC work. Once you start making conversions, then you start making money.

You have to have money to keep this system going until it starts generating on its own. How long, you say? There is no way of knowing because there are many factors that can be involved here. The amount for your budget, what you are advertising, how good your keywords are performing to help you make conversions are major items as to how long it takes for you to make money. It is very good idea to consider finding a mentor suited for your needs, even if you have to come out of pocket and invest in doing so.
